Can I enjoy Symphony of Lights Laser Show at West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade?
West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade has the amazing Victoria Harbor view.
Good harbor view at West Kowloon Promenade
So travelers can “see” the Symphony of Lights Laser Show at West Kowloon Cultural District.
Please take 26D and 74D green mini bus at Kowloon Station to go to West Kowloon Waterfront to TIY (tour it yourself).
However, at West Kowloon Waterfront, there is no loudspeaker to broadcast the background music of the laser show.
Travelers can “enjoy” the complete the Symphony of Lights Laser Show with background music at the waterfront right next to the Star Ferry Pier at Tsim Sha Tsui.
Travelers can have Frank the tour guide’s easy night private tour.
Clients can enjoy the nice sunset at West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade or Tai O Fishing Village.

5 Review: Frank did an outstanding job. He took us to see the highlights. We saw the Harbor light show. Frank chose a wonderful restaurant for our party of 5 to have dinner. We had Frank make all the dinner selections. The dinner was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and our stay in Hong Kong thanks to Frank. (Browse private tour page) |
Frank’s response: Thank you very much Shelley! Apart from the beautiful sunset and night view of Hong Kong, the tasty local Chinese dinner is of course the indispensable component of the easy and enjoyable Hong Kong night private car tour experience! (Message Frank to plan YOUR private tour) |

Which cruise terminal, Kai Tai Cruise Terminal or Ocean Terminal, is more convenient?
Hong Kong’s two cruise terminals, Ocean Terminal and Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, are both in Kowloon.
Ocean Terminal is the more convenient one.
It is at the city center and tourist center, Tsim Sha Tsui.
Ocean Terminal and the nearby big mall Harbor City have a lot of shopping and dining options for cruisers.
There are a lot of good hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui.
The giant Kai Tak Cruise Terminal is at the end of the former Kai Tak Airport runway.
The location is remote with poor transportation.
When the nearby residential and commercial developments finish, cruise passengers of Kai Tak Cruise Terminal will get more options for shopping and dining.
Frank the tour guide’s easy Hong Kong private shore excursion service can help cruise passengers to dodge the crowds at the busy cruise terminals on the port days and enjoy sightseeing in Hong Kong.
5 :”He was very professional and attentive to our needs…”

5 Review: Frank met us right on time in a very confusing terminal. He was very professional and attentive to our needs. When the crowds were too much he offered us alternatives, such as riding the Sampans instead of taking the tram down from the Peak. We felt that we had a good overview of Hong Kong and he helped us plan our next day when we were on our own. Thank you Frank. (Browse private tour page) |
Frank’s response: Thank you very much, Marjorie! During the Hong Kong & Lantau Island full day limousine private tour, your private guide and private car with driver can help you to dodge the crowd easily at the remote Kai Tak Cruise Terminal. Then you tour the most famous sightseeing points of Hong Kong, Victoria Peak and Big Buddha, in just one day enjoyably. (Message Frank to plan YOUR private tour) |
What is the must-go attraction in Kowloon?
The must-go attraction in Kowloon is the Nan Lian Garden at Diamond Hill.
You can take MTR to Diamond Hill Station Exit C1 and walk for 5 mins to reach the garden to TIY (tour it yourself).
It is an unique Tang-style garden built in 2006.
When travelers arrive at this oasis in the concrete city, they may think that they just took the time machine to go back to the past!
The new but traditional Chinese landscaping, gardening and architecture are amazing.
The big contrast between the traditional garden and the surrounding modern high-rise buildings is stunning.
Frank the tour guide’s Kowloon private tour itineraries use Nan Lian Garden as the main sightseeing point.
Frank the tour guide’s clients like the Nan Lian Garden very much.
5: “Frank provided excellent information…”
Ronald Ball (Toursbylocals) from the US |

5 Review: Our first stop was a traditional Chinese garden and Buddhist nunnery that was such a peaceful oasis surrounded by high rise communities. Our visit to Victoria Peak provided a wonderful view of Victoria Harbor. The sampan ride in Aberdeen Harbor gave an interesting view of yachts and fishing boats. Our lunch of dim sum was tasty. Frank provided excellent information about the transition to Chinese rule, guidance for viewing the evening light show, and how to access the train back to the hotel. (Browse private tour page) |
Frank’s response: Thank you for your five stars review for the Hong Kong Island Kowloon full day private car tour, Ronald! The tour shows travelers the best view of Hong Kong at Victoria Peak and traditional Hong Kong fishing village through the sampan ride. After enjoying the local dim sum lunch, travelers can see the Chinese elements in Hong Kong, Chinese garden, Buddhist nunnery and Taoist temple. Hope Ronald and other travelers see Hong Kong is going back to normal through the tour. Welcome to Hong Kong in 2020!(Message Frank to plan YOUR private tour) |

Where can I buy some useful souvenirs?
A lot of travelers are tired of the stereotyped souvenirs from the tourist markets.
So quite a lot of travelers don’t want to go shopping at the touristy Ladies Market and Temple Street Night Market anymore.
They do want to buy some useful souvenirs for their families, friends and colleagues.
Fa Yuen Street Market, where a lot of Hong Kong citizens buy the daily necessities, can suit travelers’ needs.
The goods at Fa Yuen Street Market are for everyone.
Frank the tour guide recommends the “Hong Kong Dollar towel” to travelers.
It is an interesting souvenir with a clear Hong Kong characteristic for your daily use in the bathroom.
