Leisure travelers should stay in hotels in Kowloon
A lot of leisure travelers have the same question when they plan their Hong Kong trips.
They want to know they should stay in hotels on which side of the city, Hong Kong Island or Kowloon.
Made in Hong Kong Frank the tour guide thinks that leisure travelers, like cruise passengers, honeymooners, senior travelers etc. should stay in hotels in Kowloon side.
Most hotels in Kowloon’s tourist areas, e.g. Tsim Sha Tsui, Jordan, Mong Kok and Whampoa can offer leisure travelers a good value for money.
Mostly the hotels in the financial center and commercial center on Hong Kong Island are more expensive than the hotels on the same class in Kowloon.
Traffic on the main roads in Kowloon side is better.
Leisure travelers staying in Kowloon can dodge the traffic jam on Hong Kong Island to save their valuable time.
Hotels in Kowloon are mostly closer to the Ocean Terminal, Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, West Kowloon High Speed Train Terminus and Hong Kong International Airport.
As most of the skyscrapers are on the Hong Kong Island side, most hotels on the waterfront of Kowloon side can get a better Victoria Harbor view.
To visit the highlights and hidden gems on Hong Kong Island easily, leisure travelers staying in Kowloon’s hotels can book the easy Hong Kong Island private tour.
5: “Touring with Frank was excellent…”

5Review: Touring with Frank was excellent. We really enjoyed the half day tour of Hong Kong Island seeing all the highlights. The only disappointment was the fog around the viewpoint and even with this Frank juggled the itinerary round to give us the best chance of seeing something. After the tour finished he even helped us with a restaurant and to order lunch. The tour was well organized, Frank was informative and funny and I wouldn’t hesitate to book him again. Frank’s response: Thank you very for your five stars rating, Thomas! Your review shows the important flexibility of our private car tour program. When clients have the workable requests or when it is necessary to make the change (e.g. due to bad weather) to the program, the included car with driver can change the route easily for clients and guide. The guide can still focus on doing the basic but important job, making tour commentary. That is why our private car tour program prevails! (Message Frank to plan YOUR private tour) |
