People should have the solidarity and self-discipline to stop the spread of virus.

Diligent medical staff vs. Once striking deserters
From January 2020, a lot of Hong Kong medical staff have worked diligently in the battle against the stealth enemy, Covid-19.

Even the retirees have returned to the hospitals to fight against the deadly virus by their skills and experience.
The heroes enjoy respect of Hong Kong citizens.
Help medical staff by wearing masks, washing hands and keep social distancing.
However, some medical staff, who were led by a rear service staff in the Hospital Authority, went on strike in February 2020.
Their so-called demand, which urged the Hong Kong SAR Government to close the Hong Kong-Mainland China internal border to prevent the spread of virus, showed they have a close relationship with the anti-China rioters of 2019.
Their strike did not get wide support and failed.

The wrong border closing measure may even lower people’s guard and make people become careless under pandemic.

Mainland China put a lot of efforts to beat the Covid-19.
The Central Government even supported Hong Kong SAR to fight the virus.

There is a new hospital, North Lantau Hospital Hong Kong Infection Control Centre. for treating Covid-19 patients.
It was completed with the support of the Central Government.
In September 2020, a team of Mainland Chinese experts came to help the city to organize the voluntary Universal Community Testing Programme for Covid-19.
Some anti-China activists demonized the testing programme by the lies, Hong Kong citizens’ DNA will be sent to Mainland for cloning, DNA will be used for further monitoring the activists etc.
Finally about 1.8 million tests were done.
This helped the government to find out the asymptomatic coronavirus carriers.

The demonization cannot undermine Mainland China’s efforts on and good results in controlling the pandemic.
It just further divides Hong Kong society and undermines the Hong Kong SAR Government’s fight against Covid-19.
Hong Kong citizens are the only victims.
Now the anti-China and anti-Hong Kong SAR Government activists are opposing the made in China vaccines.
Their political rival, the extreme patriotic camp, are doing the opposite thing to oppose the Western vaccines.
