The 6-month 2019 riot still impacts Hong Kong’s tourism industry in early 2020.
Frank the tour guide only serves about 10 small groups of cruise passengers in their pre-cruise private tours and private shore excursions in January 2020.

In late January, the Covid-19 spreads to Hong Kong.
There are outbreaks in two cruises, World Dream and Diamond Princess.
Thus Frank begins to cancel the tour bookings.
Finally Frank handles about 20 cancellations in early February.
That is the first time for Frank to think that 2019 riot is a blessing in disguise as the riot reduces the number of booking and it is no need to spend too much time on handling them…
