Under Covid-19 pandemic, the beautiful Victoria Harbor of Hong Kong looks bigger and calmer.
The reasons are the disappearance of giant cruise ships and suspension of border crossing high speed ferry services, like Turbojet between Hong Kog and Macau.

On 5 Feb 2020, Hong Kong SAR announced the closure of the two cruise terminals in Hong Kong, Kai Tak Cruise Terminal and Ocean Terminal, until further notice under the imminent Covid-19 pandemic.

After the departure of the giant cruise World Dream, Kai Tak Cruise Terminal becomes empty up till today.

The Star Cruise, which often berths at the Ocean Terminal at Tsim Sha Tsui, also leaves the terminal and moors at the sea to save rental cost.

The border crossing high speed ferry service between Hong Kong and Macau and Hong Kong and Mainland Chinese cities were also suspended in early February 2020.
The high speed boats, like the Turbojet, now are mooring at the piers and at the dockyards.

Without the Turbojet ferries shuttle back and forth, Victoria Harbor seems less wavy.
