New stamp after new funding shows hope for the poverty-stricken Ocean Park Hong Kong
Hong Kong Post issues the new special stamps for the Hong Kong Ocean Park.
The stamps with six different kinds of cute animals in Ocean Park show hope for this famous and popular tourist spot in Hong Kong.
After getting $5.4 billion Hong Kong Dollar emergency funding from the local law-making body, Ocean Park, which is impacted by 2019 riots and 2020 pandemic, can avoid bankruptcy temporarily.
Ocean Park survival issue was largely politicized and one local Youtube KOL Master Sin, who claims himself as the pro-establishment and constructive KOL, even advocated the park’s closure.
Mr Sin said the animals can be sent back to Mainland China.
The large property developers can absorb the 2,000 employees when they can rebuild the park as high-end and expensive housings.
Actually Frank the tour guide believes that as an international city, Hong Kong should have the world class edutainment theme park for locals and tourists, i.e. Ocean Park.
Apart from the property tycoons, the city has a lot of different stakeholders, including the animals and their keepers in the Ocean Park.
Although Frank the tour guide has no Ocean Park tour, at the end of his half day Hong Kong Island private car tour, Frank and driver can send clients to say hello to cute animals at Ocean Park.
Parents can enjoy the tour in the morning!
Children can enjoy the Ocean Park in the afternoon! (Please browse Ocean Park’s website for details.)
Ocean Park is the good place to go for the Singapore travelers under the new travel bubble.
