Kowloon Road is NOT the main road of Kowloon
Kowloon Peninsula is one of the main regions of Hong Kong SAR.
Its main road however is not Kowloon Road (Kowloon’s main road should be Nathan Road!).
Kowloon Road is a short street with a big name.
Kowloon Road has a big name but it is narrow and its short length is only about 200m.
Kowloon Road (the blue dotted line) is really short.
But travelers can do TIY (tour it by yourself) on and near this short backstreet, which locates at Sham Shui Po Area (5 mins walk from Sham Shui Po MTR Station Exit D2).
Although Frank the tour guide’s Kowloon tour programmes do not cover Kowloon Road, Frank can help travelers to tour the whole Kowloon Peninsula more easily.
Tour it by yourself the things-to-do on and near Kowloon Road
Travelers may not be interested to the new residential building development, Kowloon Road No 1, frozen meat shop and auto repair shop on the short Kowloon Road.
But travelers can buy some made in Hong Kong bread and enjoy afternoon tea at the Garden Bakery outlets and restaurant after different activities near the Kowloon Road.
But Frank does not recommend to climb the Garden Hill to see sunset because the path is rugged. For sunset, please consider Frank’s sunset night tour with dinner.
